Do you ever find that your physical body is trying to communicate that rest is needed? Sore muscles, aches, pains, and headaches can be signs to us that we need to slow down! The mind can be speeding, racing, setting multiple things on your daily agenda but overdoing it will slowly but shortly catch up to the body.

Example: A full day planner of physical work, grocery and household shopping, kids athletics, recreational hobbies, long distance driving, personal responsibilities, educational goals, taking care of spouses, children and families, financial planning, and workaholic patterns of behaviors are sure to effect the whole body system and wear and tear on the physical health. Realize that behind every successful person is a plan of action and boundaries.

Healthy Choice: Today I will create a Healthy Calendar! I will plan by prioritizing my time so that I can be productive, balanced, energized, and motivated. Placing helpful boundaries and learning to say No is okay. I can set my top 3 priorities for the day on the checklist and work from there, it’s okay to be flexible. I will choose not to overload myself and take care of me….sometimes the dishes and laundry can wait until tomorrow. I will make time for walking and exercise to strengthen my body. Daily physical exercise is on my calendar.

Diet Tip: Eating a Clean vibrant diet and eliminating toxic foods will decrease stress on the body. Keeping excess weight off will maintain good health and keep pressure off of your joints and muscles.
