Dose #5:Emotional Anxiety

Some Anxiety can be situational and pose as a positive catalyst when bridging, transitioning, or walking into something new. The fact that it could be a helpful benefactor would most likely be if you have learned tools to channel and maintain it in order to get to the other side…That being said, if not tempered anxiety can become a dominator and quite debilitating. When we are completely connected to The Vine, we have a powerful mediator who is The Source for taking anxious thoughts captive. He has also granted wisdom to medical professionals for additional help in balancing the body. It’s important not to suffer in silence if emotions become uncontrollable.

Example: Some mild anxiety may be normal, such as preparing for a public speaking event, a wedding, or a board exam. It can serve you to push though, prepare well, and study. After you attain what’s on the other side, your next tasks may become lighter and easier to control the reins.

Healthy Choices: Today I will make a list of the Top 5 things that stir my anxiety. I will research exercises and tools (such as rehearsing, breathing techniques, or physical exercises) that can bring greater awareness and de escalate my anxieties. I will begin to put them in practice when I feel anxiety beginning to rise. I will make a commitment to myself, that if becomes unmanageable, I’ll seek counseling/medical help.
